Been YEARS since I've played a bass. I got a Fender Squirer mini bass at a pawn shop for an awesome deal - bass was $160 and case weas $100, the associate knocked $20 off the bass and gave me the case at no cost - and hooked it up to my Ubuntu laptop and recorded myself playing it in Audacity.
The first bass riff is from a song I wrote in my college days called "Queen of Bitches". (The song was about the dangerous life of prostitution and how it can lead to drug abuse and AIDS.) The second bass riff needs to introduction if you're a fan of Pink Floyd. If you don't know, it is the opening bass riff from "One of These Days".
